Contestants

Contestant Club Speech Title
Fred Berni Phoenix Toronto Toastmasters A Mystery Solved
Denise Humphreys Toronto #1 For Everything Else
Sulakshan Mohan Goodyear
Else Pedersen Humber Shores Mid Life Dating
Andy Stuart eCommunicators

What can I say? The humourous speeches were great.

The speeches were like a snapshot in the circle of life: Dating, Poison ivy, Bribery, Weddings, and Children! Congratulations to this year's winners:

  • 1st Place: Denise Humphreys - Toronto #1
  • 2nd Place: Sulakshan Mohan - Goodyear
  • 3rd Place: Andy Stuart - eCommunicators

Food and Beverages

Let's be realistic. I came for the food. But I stayed for the speeches!

First on the program: a caffeine fix ala coffee. Sugar levels still low? A rainbow flavoured variety of juice and sodas came to our rescue. Hungry? Sandwich fixings, shrimp, and veggies for a nutritious snack to make your mother proud. Okay, well, mom isn't here right now! So grab a few chips, cookies, crackers, and cake while you're at it!

There was even a bit of food left over for the cookie monsters to take home.

Division P Contest

Winners of the Area contest go on to compete at the Division P Contest. Best of luck to Dave and Denise as they represent our Area!
