Deep breathing Excercise Builds Voice ProjectionIt's true. Deep breathing helps carry sound farther without straining your voice!Try having the following conversation in 'ONE' breath.
Breathing Meditation ExcerciseNow;Sit straight in a chair, relax and close your eyes. Take a deep breath and visualize the air going down into your diaphragm and expanding your stomach area. Hold it and begin to hum deep from your stomach, ah.........oooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmm................ Try to control the amount of air, to extend your humming as long as you can. When you are doing this correctly you will feel your chest vibrating. Repeat this exercise at least three times. Dare to CompareNow repeate the conversation above. Notice the difference? The more you practice this exercise the better you will be able to project your voice, deep from within, rather just raising your voice or yelling from your throat and vocal cords. When you can repeat this conversation easily, in one breath, try exaggerating the 'H' sound at the beginning of every word.
